To me being a lifetime learner simply means the more I learn the more helpful I can be. Let’s face it, Healthcare is difficult. My goal is to simplify the process, make it more understandable, and therefore make Wellness more obtainable. Trey Waters was born and raised in Bristol, Virginia and first became interested in medicine as a child. At the age of 12, he learned that his grandfather had been diagnosed with Diabetes and took the opportunity to help him figure out his medications by setting up a dosing chart. From that point forward, Trey pursued his goal of becoming a pharmacist. He started working at age 15 as a Pharmacy Technician at Medical Mall Pharmacy in Bristol, TN which further solidified his desire to become a pharmacist. Trey was fortunate enough to be accepted into the Pharmacy School at Campbell University when he was 19 years old. In addition to his Pharm.D. degree, Trey completed a Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine (A4M) from the South Florida School of Medicine. Professionally, Trey has been honored to receive The Roche Pharmaceutical Communications Award, Campbell University Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Keith Fearing- Community Pharmacist of the Year - Award. He has also served on several boards, including the Retail Advisory Board at NC Mutual, Dean's Board of Advisers for Campbell University, and on the Digital Advisory Board for Corista, LLC, a digital pathology company. Trey has owned 22 independent pharmacies spanning NC, SC,TN, VA and even Montana. Outside of work, Trey enjoys hiking, traveling, fly fishing, spending time with his dog, Petunia, and taking part in all that SWVA has to offer.
